I’ve been cooking for many years, but I can only attribute my love of cooking to my mother and great-grandmother, who taught me to cook. In my family; cooking delicious meals is another way of expressing love for one another. Cooking a meal for another person in happiness is the secret ingredient to good food. This extends into my cooking “philosophy” I am not fond of cutting corners when it comes to meal preparation. There are some things you can’t simply rush in cooking; this is especially true of meats, the longer they marinate or slow cook the better the natural flavors will come through.
I want to share a few recipes and relay some good old fashioned cooking wisdom that I’ve learned from my mother, and great-grandmother, or learned through my own experiences.
